Sustainability in everything we do

Our clothes are designed for women working in a many different environments, often natural (farming, conservation, gardening).

 

We believe strongly that everything we do should be transparent, responsible and mindful about impact on the planet.

 

We assess everything in our supply chain – our fabrics, our packaging, our production and our delivery methods to check against our sustainability criteria.

 

We will not compromise on quality and this may increase our costs.

The garment industry has a huge environmental impact.  It accounts for about 10% of greenhouse gas emissions and 20% of wastewater.  Fashion uses more energy than aviation and shipping combined.

 

Our fieldfare trouser is made from fabric by world-leading Candiani mill in Italy, who call themselves the ‘greenest textile company in the blue world’.  The denim is Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified, uses a 100% biodegradable, non toxic and microplastics free dye process.
